Community Service
We praise GOD, our Heavenly Father for the refugee children center is started and running. On 5th January 2009, we conducted the registration and assessment of the children at St. Barnabas Church Community Centre. Parents brought their children and 55 children were registered, comprising mainly from the ethnic groups from Myanmar.

The school officially began its session on the 12th January 2009 at the St. Barnabas Church Community Centre with 5 classes (Nursery, Pre-school, Std One, Std Two and Std Three), teaching English, Mathematics and Science. Classes are held everyday from Mondays to Fridays from 10am to 2pm. The school provides light snacks with hot Milo for the 11am break and a hot meal for lunch at 1pm.
We thank GOD for the volunteer teachers, chefs, van drivers and helpers. We can see that He is building the school and gathering the children and today we have 85 children and it is still growing. GOD only wants us to be available for His work and He will do the rest.
