In recent week a friend sent me a mail wanting me to view a video from the internet “Face Book” which feature on the dramatic demographic changes in the population in Europe and in fact North America too. If our dear Lord decide to tarry in his coming for another 30-40 years time, most of the developed country like Europe may see the Muslim may be the dominating population by birth and migration. The whole western culture may be Islamised by the sheer number of people that are presence at that time.
Closer at home likewise we’re no different, as the Chinese tends to have a smaller families(Usual 2-3 kids) wherelse the Malay Muslim will usually have more that 3-5 kids in the families. With the present population of 63% (2007 statistic), in another 20 or the most 30 years, we may see 80 or more present of our population are Malay of Muslim faith. The demographic land scape may even more drastic with the emigration that leaves the country, about 30% derives from christian faith. What a crying shame when the nation felt our allegiance towards our country are questioned.
If we look carefully at the ratio of race/religion of these migrants that works in Malaysia, It’s to our surprise that about 70% of the foreign workers comes from Muslim country, the three largest Muslim country have their people here. The largest group are the Indonesia (over a million) / Bangladesh (300,000) / Pakistan (80,000).
As we engage with the alien, we need to see where the people are and how we can get in touch with them.
