First of all, we would like to praise and give glory to our God who have called His people to initiate Migrant Ministry Klang which also focus on Myanmar people group. God has been at work since the start of Migrant Ministry Klang as to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.

Even though we are different backgrounds, tribes, races, languages and cultures, Jesus Christ has united us as one body with Him and able to serve together with one purpose for His Kingdom. We must thank the Lord for raising up people like brother Andrew and his dedicated team who run this ministry with sincere heart of love for the unreached groups. We also do not forget to acknowledge all the participating churches for their prayer and support for this work.

Sunday Myanmar Fellowship

Myanmar Fellowship is a place for believers to experience the heart of worship, receive solid teaching of the word of God and also a place for the spiritual growth of new believers. There are eight ethnic groups from Myanmar such as Kachin, Kayar, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Burma, Rakhine and Shian. They worship together in one accord in a national language called “Burmese”.

The service is on going at Klang St Barnabas Church every Sunday between 6:00pm to 8:00pm. There are many people who come from far distant by their own and some are provided transport by Migrant Ministry Klang. There are usually 120-140 people gather together to worship every Sunday.

Preaching Stations on weekday.

Preaching station is one of the most effective methods to reach out people who are yet to know Jesus Christ and also some who are unable come to our Sunday fellowship.

  6. Kampung Jawa

We have planned to start another one at Port Klang soon and a few more preaching stations at various places this year. In reaching out to these people at different areas, God has given us a few wonderful local volunteers to serve the Lord by driving the vans and without them it is very difficult to reach them.

Evangelistic Rally

Through singing competition

Evangelistic meetings are conducted from time to time at different preaching stations. As most of Myanmarese love to sing and therefore we usually organize the event so called “Sing Song Service”. With it, we can invite many friends to join and at the service, they have an opportunity to hear the Gospel. We also conduct some evangelistic programs outside like distributing Gospel tract at their hostels or factories.

The purpose of Gospel team is for our members to participate in doing an evangelism work. The activity also teaches them how they can go out in a group to distribute the gospel tracts and VCDs. They are divided into four teams called Mathew, Mark, Luke and John and they go out in the first and last week every month.

Computer class and English class

Teaching computer and English are used to reach out to non believing friends. Whenever they come to learn in the computer and English classes, we are not trying to preach the Gospel but we try to help them to fulfill their dreams and build good friendship and trust with them. 85% of the students who come to the computer and English classes are non Christian or seekers. Hence this is a good platform that we could show the love of Christ to them.
