Christmas Evangelistic Outreach @ North Port
Christmas is just around the corner, and what better time of the year than to organize an event where we can share the true story of Christmas with those who have not heard the gospel before. And that was exactly MMK did yesterday night at an open air meeting with 50 Nepali and Myanmarese migrants!
With just a piece of tarp laid out inside one of the dimly lit factories compound, we conducted a meeting that involved singing of a simple Christmas song to the tune of the “Happy Birthday” song, followed with Pastor Elangko sharing the Christmas message along with Pastor Bijay and Pastor Charles translating the message to Nepali and Myanmarese respectively, and simultaneously.
Although the setting was crude, and the venue dark, yet Pastor Elanko’s message shone brightly as

During the altar call, one of the Nepali came forward to make the decision to follow Christ. Praise God for this brother! There were also a few others who came up to receive prayer for various reasons.
All in all, we praise God for the one decision that was made for Christ, and the opportunity to sow seeds in the rest that heard the message. This is indeed wonderful news during this Christmas season!
